TEATER MUZIKAL MEK MULUNG PUTERI DARAH PUTIH TEATER MUZIKAL MEK MULUNG PUTERI DARAH PUTIH created and directed by Nabil Zahan and Khairul Anuar Zainudin @ Kayrol MarkNann , with the guidance of Adiguru Cendana Mek Mulung Zamzuriah Zahari Date: 20 September (8.30 pm) 21 September (3.30 pm & 8.30 pm) This Theatre is an adaptation that weaves together elements of Malay folklore Stories, Mek Mulung theatre, and musical theatre form. Unlike conventional tradition Mek Mulung performances, this production explores a new theatrical language by employing a different structure and incorporating original songs that are not found in the traditional repertoire. Rather than drawing from the common folktales usually performed in Mek Mulung, this script reimagines one of the most enduring legends from northern Malay folklore the story of Mahsuri.
